A message from Bill Fullilove, Director of The Washington Institute for Faith, Vocation and Culture.

As Steve moves on to this next phase of his own vocational calling at Regent College, I am humbled and honored that he and the TWI board have created a way for us to continue the work that he has been doing. By means of a short introduction, I became involved with these questions of calling and vocation a bit over a decade ago when I first met Steve, and I’ve been blessed to be a small part of TWI over the last few years by editing the Missio blog. By day I serve a dual role as one of the pastors at McLean Presbyterian Church in the Washington, DC area and as the Associate Professor of Old Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary’s New York City campus. Much of my own passion in ministry and thought is to help men and women “connect the dots,” so to speak, to create a seamless life before the Lord – one that touches faith, vocation, and culture.

What’s Next

A few quick words about what to expect in the near future. As we make this transition, the first step will be for us to re-curate the exceptional content that has been created over the years from the ministry of The Washington Institute. We will have a period of relative quiet on this end while we work through the wealth of existing material and create a redesigned washingtoninst.org that makes the best of TWI’s thinking easily available. Once that redesigned website is launched, we’ll be back in touch with more information about our future plans and thoughts.

Steve has graciously promised to remain as involved in our work as possible, of course pending his ability to serve fully and well at Regent. We look forward to his writing and thinking remaining an integral part of the intellectual development of TWI and to serving together as long as the Lord will give.

Blessings to you each, and very best,
Bill
